Second Work and Holiday Visa for Australia: Application Form (UK)

You can apply a second Working Holiday visa if you meet all requirements that apply to Working Holiday visas and:

  • Have complied with all the conditions on your first Work and Holiday visa
  • Have not previously held more than one Working Holiday visa
  • Have completed three months of specified work in regional Australia while on your first Work and Holiday visa.

Approved industries for specified work include:

  • Plant and animal cultivation
  • Fishing and pearling
  • Tree farming and felling
  • Mining
  • Construction

Notice that if you are currently in Australia on your first Work and Holiday visa, and wish to remain in the country, you should apply for the second Work and Holiday visa before the first expires.

The price for each visa is £ 450 per person.

Visa applicants are encouraged to be immunised against infectious diseases before travelling to Australia. Visa applicants who are unable to arrange their immunisation before departure from their home country are encouraged to seek advice on arrival in Australia. The Australian state and territory health authorities assist people to obtain general medical help and advice, including immunisation. Parents are strongly encouraged to have their children immunised against hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), poliomyelitis, haemophilus influenzae type-b (Hib), pneumococcal and meningococcal infections, mumps, measles, rubella and varicella (chickenpox). Babies between the ages of 2 and 8 months of age (only) are also encouraged to be immunised against rotavirus.

Parents should bring any immunisation records for their children with them to Australia.

Rubella vaccinations are strongly encouraged for women of child-bearing age.
