Australia’s Temporary Work Visa for UK citizens
An Australian Temporary Work Visa (Subclass 400) is for UK citizens who will go to Australia to do temporary work.
The visa can be granted for up to three months.
You can apply for this visa if:
- You are outside of Australia
- You are going to do short term, highly specialized, temporary work
- You will participate in a cultural or social event
- You will participate in an activity or work relating to Australia’s interests
To apply, you need to be invited by the organization for which you will be working.
As a UK citizen,you also need to have personal attributes or an employment background relevant to the work. You will be asked to provide various documents to complete your application.
